Production Operator6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Manufactures electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical products by performing repetitive short cycle task/movements. Will use hand and power tools, small to large machinery, mechanical fixtures and test equipment. Performs visual, electrical, mechanical inspection/calibration/testing using written and/or graphic instructions and test procedures. Responsible for basic set-ups, adjusts and monitors equipment. Notifies appropriate personnel if process/method is out of compliance. Assist in investigating causes for non-compliance. Rotates between operations within a work cell as well as between work cells and departments. Assists in maintaining work cell and/or department records. Uses manufacturing system to replenish components, check component availability, look-up Bills-of-Materials, routings and to report production. Prepares production documentation (travelers, efficiency & quality records) ensuring information is correct. Assists in training co-workers.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
High School Diploma or GED

Ability to sit, stand, bend, push, pull or a combination of all movement types as required by and for the duration of the job assignment.
Manual dexterity with capability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, wrenches, etc.), electric and pneumatic power tools and in-house developed product specific tooling/fixtures.
Ability to comprehend both written and spoken English language for purpose of understanding training/direction and to interpret assembly, test and equipment documentation.
Must be able to work from visual aids, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, ISO work instruction and test documentation.
Ability to function and contribute in a team environment.
Ability to lift and transfer 25 lbs. and normal strength requirements
